Dancing Bones

A very quick post to capture the best common name I’ve seen yet, courtesy of Shirley’s Plant Magic stash.

Dancing bones

Dancing Bones – or Hatiora/Rhipsalis salicornioides – is a forest cactus from South America.  Looking more like a succulent than a cactus, it’s a plant we’ve come across before when Rhipsalis was judged a favourite office plant last year.

We just didn’t catch this name that time, or another, Drunkard’s Dream.  A plant with hidden depths clearly.
